As its name suggests, Winterisation Europe and Winterisation
Atlantic have at their disposal cold filtering units
for oils.
Their production tools with a capacity above 30,000
tons per annum along with their know how enable them
to stand as the European leaders for the production
of winterised fish oils and lard oils.
We have 3 winterisation units :
- one in Fécamp (France) intended to fish oils
- one in Fécamp (France) intended to lard
oils
- one in Agadir (Morocco) intended to fish oils
TWO PRODUCTS :
fish oils
The group has been commercialising fish and cod liver oils since 1929. Over the
past ten years, the company gradually stood out on the omega 3 fish oil market
by building a new factory in Morocco including a storage capacity of 8,000 tons,
a refining unit and a winterisation unit. The equipments of this subsidiary,
Winterisation Atlantic, were put into service in June 2005.
Lard oils
Lard oils are used in 2 fields of activity :
- leather industry : after sulfonation lard oil is a tanning product used
worlwide.
- metal work: lard oil has exceptional lubricant qualities, it enters
in the composition of many cutting oils. Moreover, its biogradabilty gives
it an advantage over mineral oils.
