IFIS certification
We are pleased to announce the certification of Winterisation Europe according to IFIS (IFSA Feed Ingredients Standard) obtained on February 1, 2007 and renewed on January 31, 2008.
This new international standard defined by the IFSA (International Feed Safety Alliance) in September 2005 applies to the suppliers of ingredients for animal feed.
It relates to trade, storage, winterisation, conditioning and distribution activities for fish oils and stearin, or cod liver oils as well as lard stearin.
This standard defines requirements in the frame of :
1. the good hygienic practices to be respected at all the stages of the process
2. an HACCP implementation in order to control the hazards of health safety
3. a quality organization standard like ISO 9001
